Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use gadxy.com, book a repair, or buy from or sell a device to Gadxy.

1. Who we are

GADXY (Kolkata, West Bengal, India) provides doorstep repair of phones, tablets, laptops and smartwatches, sells refurbished devices, and buys used devices. Contact: care@gadxy.com · +91 777 000 6737.

2. Where we serve

Doorstep repairs are available within 35 km of a Gadxy office. The current cities are listed on gadxy.com/repair. In some cities the repair is carried out by a Gadxy partner repair shop, which then issues the invoice for the repair.

3. Booking and the ₹99 advance

  • A booking is confirmed when the ₹99 advance is paid. The ₹99 is adjusted against your final repair bill; it is not an extra charge.
  • After booking, our team calls you to fix a convenient time and confirm parts. We don’t guarantee a specific time slot until it is agreed on that call.
  • If we can’t serve your booking (for example the part is unavailable or your address is outside our area), or the time and parts we confirm on the call don’t suit you, the ₹99 is refunded to your original payment method within 5 to 7 working days.
  • If you cancel before the technician has set out, the ₹99 is refunded the same way. If you cancel after the technician has travelled to you, the ₹99 is kept to cover the visit.

4. Prices

  • Prices shown on the website or in an AI assistant are our standard prices for that repair and model.
  • The final price is confirmed after the technician inspects the device. If the fault is different from what was booked, the technician will tell you the new price before starting, and you can decline.
  • When you book 2 or more repairs together, a discount applies to the combined total.

5. Warranty: GADXY Protection Plan

  • Repairs carry 90-day protection on parts and service. Display replacements have a dedicated 30-day display protection with 50% damage coverage. Returning customers get a lifetime 10% discount on future repairs. Refurbished and second-hand phones bought from Gadxy carry a 90-day warranty. Full terms are on our Warranty Policy page.
  • The warranty doesn’t cover physical or liquid damage after the repair, or repairs opened or tampered with by anyone other than Gadxy.
  • To claim, contact us or use “Claim” on your account page. A ₹99 visit advance applies, and the repair is free if it’s the same issue.

6. Your device and data

  • Please back up your data before the repair. Repairs can sometimes require a reset, and Gadxy is not responsible for data loss.
  • Our technicians never ask for your passwords or banking details.

7. Booking through AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude)

You can check prices and book through an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude when it is connected to Gadxy (see Use Gadxy in ChatGPT and Claude). Those bookings follow these same terms. Payment is never taken inside the chat: we email you a link to pay the ₹99 on our website. The AI assistant is provided by its own company (OpenAI or Anthropic) under that company’s terms.

8. Liability

Our responsibility for a repair is limited to redoing the repair or refunding the amount paid for it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kolkata, West Bengal have jurisdiction.

10. Online orders for products

When you buy a product on gadxy.com, the following also apply, together with our Shipping and Return, Refund and Cancellation policies.

  1. We have made every effort to display the colour of our products that appear on the site as accurately as possible. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of colour will be accurate.
  2. The User certifies that he/she is at least 18 (eighteen) years of age or has the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  3. www.gadxy.com in will not be responsible for any damage suffered by users from use of the services on www.gadxy.com. This without limitation includes loss of revenue or data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, missed deliveries, or service interruptions as may occur because of any act / omission of the vendor. This disclaimer of liability also applies to any damages or injury caused by any failure of performance, negligence, defect, deletion, error, omission, interruption, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of record, whether for breach of contract, tortuous behavior, or under any other cause of action.
  4. www.gadxy.com in will take “Full Responsibility” of your Order, if the Order has been shipped to any of the major cities, where we use “Private Courier Companies” (eg.  FedEx, Delhivery etc.) to ship your order.
  5. The prices and availability of products are subject to change without prior notice at the sole discretion of www.gadxy.com
  6. Request for cancellations of orders once placed on www.gadxy.com in shall not be entertained.
  7. www.gadxy.com in reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for a product that is listed at an incorrect price or for any other reason. This shall be regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and/or payment been received. The payment shall be refunded and the User shall be informed of the same.
  8. If a non-delivery or late delivery occurs due to a mistake by the User (i.e. wrong or incomplete name or address or recipient not available) any extra cost spent by www.gadxy.com in for re-delivery shall be claimed from the User placing the order.
  9. The User agrees to give accurate, authentic and true information. www.gadxy.com reserves the right to confirm and validate the information and other details provided by the User at any point of time. If any such User details are found not to be true wholly or partly, www.gadxy.com has the right in its sole discretion to reject the registration and debar the User from using the services of www.gadxy.com without prior intimation whatsoever.
  10. www.gadxy.com will not be liable for any type or kind of credit card fraud. The liability to use a card fraudulently will be on the user and the onus to ‘prove otherwise’ shall be exclusively on the user. The User must exclusively use his/her own card on the site.
  11. www.gadxy.com in shall not entertain any complaints after 7 days, once the order is delivered.
  12. All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by www.gadxy.com Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it in whole or part is prohibited without the permission of www.gadxy.com in.
  13. Some items may appear slightly larger or smaller than actual size due to screen defaults and photography techniques. Sometimes the items may be represented larger than the actual size in order to clearly show details or smaller than the actual size in order to show the entire item. The Company shall not be liable for any legal action on this account.
  14. In the event of breach of the terms and conditions of these terms of use by the user, the user shall be promptly liable to indemnify www.gadxy.com for all the costs, losses and damages caused to www.gadxy.com as a result of such a breach. Further in the event of your breach of these terms of use, you agree that www.gadxy.com will be irreparably harmed and will not have an adequate remedy in money or damages. www.gadxy.com therefore, shall be entitled in such event to obtain an injunction against such a breach from any court of competent jurisdiction immediately upon request. www.gadxy.com‘s right to obtain such relief shall not limit its right to obtain other remedies.
